Ragi is known as Finger millet, Karnataka is one of the top producers of ragi. Ragi is consumed as staple food in rural south karnataka.
This is also a healthy recipe of ragi dosa. It is made with fermented dosa batter like the regular dosa. You can make ragi idli or ragi dosa from this batter.
1 cup Urad dal
1 cup idli rice
3 cups ragi or ragi flour
1 cup poha (avalakki )
1 tsp methi seeds
Soak urad dal, rice, methi seeds, ragi for 4 -5 hours. In case you are using ragi flour you can add it while grinding.
Add poha and grind the above for a fine batter.
Ferment it for 8 - 10 hours and add salt, make nice ragi dosa from it.
