- bread slices - 4
- semolina (upma rava) - 1/2 cup
- curds - 1 cup
- water - 1 cup
- cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
- salt
to taste
- onion - 1 finely chopped
Procedure:1. Discard
the side crust of bread and make small pieces of bread.
2. Roast the semolina/upma rava for 2-3 min until it become light golden brown and keep aside.
3. Mix bread, rava with 1 cup curds and 1 cup water. Keep it aside for 15 mins.
4. After
15 min check the consistency of the batter, if
required add little water. Add cumin seeds, salt and mix
nicely.

5. Heat
the tawa or pan and smear some oil, pour 1/2 cup batter and add little
topping and 1/2 tsp oil to the sides and cover it. Let it cook for 1 min
then flip it and let it cook for another 1 min. Both sides should be
golden brown. Serve hot with pickle.
