         Vangibath Powder

Vangibath is a masala powder used in preparing wide variety of rice items. A common fried rice dish in south Indian families. 


Urad dal - 1 cup
Chanadal - 1 cup
Dalchini - 3 sticks
Clove /Lavanga - 3-4 nos.
Dried Capers / Marati Moggu - 2 pieces
Kashmiri Nirch / Byadagi Menasinakayi - 100 gm
Guntur Chillies / Guntur menasinakayi - 50 gm
Coriander seeds / Kotambari beeja - 1cup
Dry Coconut - 1/2 cup

1. Fry all the ingredients with 1 teaspoon of oil separately.
2. Grind it to a fine powder. 

3. Store in airtight jar.
