         Sweet Potato Raita

Sweet Potatoes are rich nutrition and also help to stay your skin clear and smooth. Sweet Potatoes Raita is simply a delightful dish and easy to prepare.


Boiled Sweet Potato - 1 medium sized

Curds - 1 cup

Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp

Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

Red chillies - 1 cut into small pieces

Curry leaves - 4

Urad dal - 1/4 tsp

salt to taste


1. Boil Sweet potatoes till soft, remove their skin and slightly mash into smaller pieces.

2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and allow to splutter

3. Add Urad dal and roast till golden color. Add red chillies and curry leaves and saute for a minute.

4. To the mashed potatoes, mix the tempering prepared above , add salt and pepper powder .

5. When ready to serve, add the curd and mix well. If it is too thick, then add little water.

6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
