         Methi Chutney

Methi Seeds are used in many medical conditions such as diabetes, cholesterol, high blood pressure, stomach trouble, etc. Try this tasty chutney made from methi seeds.You can serve this chutney with idlis or chapatis.

Methi Seeds : 1/2 tsp

Red chillies : 3 nos.

Grated fresh coconut : 1 cup

Asafoetida : 1/4 tsp

Tamarind juice: 1 tsp

Salt: 1 tsp

Jaggery : 1 tsp

1. Fry methi seeds with little of oil, when it turns golden put chillies fry for 1 min.

2. Transfer this to a plate and fry the grated coconut till you get good aroma.

3. Again transfer this to the same plate and put asafoetida, tamarind juice, salt and jaggery.

4. On cooling down grind it in a mixer to fine paste.

Your tasty Methi chutney is ready to serve with idlis or chapatis.
