Southekayi Thirulu/Tender Seeds of cucumber: 1 cut into small pieces
Putani/Roasted Bengalgram: 2 tbsp
Grated coconut: 1 tbsp
Curry leaves: 1 strand
Tamarind juice: 1 tbsp
Jaggery: 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Green chillies: 2 medium sized
Coriander Leaves: A handful
Oil: 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds: 1/4 tsp
Urad dal: 1/4 tsp
1. Grind Southekayi Thirulu, Putani, Grated coconut, Asafoetida,
Tamarind juice, Jaggery, Coriander Leaves, Salt and Green chillies to a fine paste.
2. Prepare seasoning with mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves, mix well with the chutney paste.
Serve this chutney with dosa/idli.
