Procedure:

1. Dry roast all the spices. Grind the spices with coconut, red chilli powder to a smooth paste.

2. Step 1 add soft boiled tur dhal and grind again.

3. Transfer the paste in to a vessel and add little water to thin it slightly, let it not be too watery, bring it to boil.

4.  Add salt, sugar and cook for a while. Now add the cooked peas and cook for 5 mins, so that it comes to the required consistency. The gravy should not be too thick or too thin. It should be semi liquid so that you can pour it on the puris.

5. You can prepare this gravy and keep it ready, at the time of serving you can again make it hot. Gravy should be hot when you serve to enjoy the yummy taste of masala puri.

5.  In a serving plate, take few puris and crush them. Spread a about 1-2 ladle full of gravy. Spread some carrot, onion, coriander leaves and sev. Serve immediately.
