Ragi Soup/Finger Millet soup is a low calorie, healthy soup. Ragi is rich in calcium, iron, protein. Fibers in ragi reduces excess in appetite and gives you a feeling of fullness, hence supports the process of weight loss. It also gives a cooling effect on the body.

Ragi flour: 2 tbsp
Onion: 1 small
Green chilli: 1/4 small
Water: 4 - 5 cups
Salt to taste
Pepper powder: 1 tsp
Vegetables (Beans, Carrot, Cabbage) : 1 tbsp
1. Grind Ragi flour, onion and green chilli to a very fine paste.
2. Add 1 cup of water and mix the paste well and pass through a sieve.
3. Add the remaining water, vegetables, salt and bring it to boil for 10 mins.
Garnish with pepper powder and serve.
