Eggless Chocolate Biscuit recipe is very easy to make and very delicious too. They are crispy outside and soft inside. Great for people who are vegetarian. I have used atta instead of maida. Try this interesting recipe ....
Atta/Wheat Flour: 1 cup
Sugar: 1/2 cup
Butter: 1/4 cup
Baking soda: 1/2 tsp
Baking powder: 1/2 tsp
Cocoa: 1 tbsp
Instant Coffee Powder: 1/2 tsp
Honey: 1 1/2 tsp
Milk: 4 tbsp
1. Sieve 1 cup Aashirvaad Select Atta, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1 tbsp cocoa together.
2.In a bowl, mix 1/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 3/4 tsp vanilla essence and 1.5 tsp honey together.
3. Now, mix the sieved dry ingredients and 1/2 tsp instant coffee powder with the above butter-sugar mixture. Add 4 tbsp milk a little by little to make a soft dough.
4.Now, roll out the prepared dough on a floured surface.
5.Cut the rolled dough in to equal sized rectangles.
6.Sprinkle sugar on the top and prick holes with a fork.
7.Grease a baking tray. Bake the biscuits at 325 F for 15 minutes.
